Profile

berlininfo have accompanied the building and planning processes in Berlin as an information service in public relations since 1995.

This service is primarily focussed on communicating planning issues and strategies in tours, walks and lectures. With regard to the enormous changes of Berlin since the reunification,  priority is given the future prospects for the city's society, economy and politics. This includes the capital functions of Berlin, as well as the strategies of the Land of Berlin to reunite the once separated parts of the city. Town planning, housing and traffic infrastructure is concerned as well as initiatives of private investors and the civil society.

The changing processes of Berlin launched by the fall of the Berlin Wall also comprise large parts of its architectural and town-planning appearance. Experts from town planning, politics, economy and other visitors from home and abroad show great interest in these innovations, the experiments and discussions involved. We meet this increased demand for information introducing subjects, explaining, mediating, discussing the transferability of modells and revealing future perspectives.

berlininfo act as mediator between politics, administration and planning on one side and experts, visitors and citizens on the other side, presenting the city and it´s life in a vivid way. Thus an important bridge is built between the commitment and concern of Land and Federal politicians as well as privat investors to present their projects to the public, and the public's information demand. In our work we are governed by the following guidelines:

The classic view of a city being a three-dimensional body, a city of stone, is confronted with the view of a city as a social society, in the sense of a human community , which discusses ideas and opinions and develops common goals.

Rural exodus and urbanization continue all over the world. What man's living together and the organization of societies will look like in the future related to space and institutions will be decided in the metropolitan areas and conurbations.

Thus the communication within Berlin and the exchange of experience with big cities and experts worldwide is of increasing importance .
berlininfo
contribute as a catalyst to this communication. Our manifold contacts enable administration and planning experts as well as experts of the big house-building associations to be integrated in visiting and information programs suited to the individual interests. For our programs multilingual consultants are at disposal covering different fields of interest.

After all: a city has to be experienced
Apart from lectures and explantions of modells public relations include above all the living object itself - the city  and its inhabitants! Berlin like any other city has to be experienced with all senses and own impressions to form a judgement- also with a tasteful meal and a bottle of good wine.

berlininfo convey a discriminating picture of Berlin to the visitor showing connections and relations beyond the touristic view.
